I am only in this moment
breathing and walking
my mind quiet
Roads bordered with pastures
sheep grazing
bodies moving slowly
I am like the sheep
purposeless in this moment
and it frees me
I am only here
Blue skies above
green trees below
mountains linking the two
rich cedar in my nose
carried by a warm wind
The wind sways the branches
leaves applaud
their hands
like a running river
breathing
pulsing
an ebb and flow
like the heartbeat of the universe
The forest breathes
exhaling songs of birds
The sun has a Midas touch
turning the forest
from green to gold
We look down on a life
without purpose
but maybe
we need more purposeless moments
to simply
enjoy existing
In an age where we’re always filling time and hardly ever stopping to just BE, I would say this is an amazing purpose.

I agree, there’s too much emphasis on being busy. I’ll take a look at the TED link, I love those videos! Thank you!
